Modular Postural System for Children
Grillo Postural System from the Italian company Ormesa is a modular postural system with integrated tilt-in-space, for children with various levels of disability. This highly effective and versatile aid offers numerous adjustment possibilities to always ensure the best posture. Available in 3 different sizes, it can be mounted on two bases: one for indoor use and one for outdoor use. This last one is reversible with a few steps; the seating unit can be positioned facing forward or towards the caregiver. Easy to fold and transport, Grillo Postural System is:

With a few simple steps, Grillo Postural System can be quickly disassembled and folded to reduce clutter, and the seat orientation can be changed or transferred from an indoor to an outdoor frame. Optimal postural control
The seat adjustment joints align closely with the user’s joints: this structural feature provides significant benefits for the child as the posture is not altered during recline operation activated by a gas spring, as well as adjusting the inclination of the footrest.
The seat unit, both in the indoor and outdoor base, can be tilted backward; the indoor version also allows a slight tilting forward, useful for placing the child in an active position, to perform activities that stimulate the straightening and activation of the back muscles.
Thanks to our patented height adjustment system, also activated via a gas spring, changing the height of Grillo Postural System becomes a simple and extremely quick operation for the caregiver, with the child seated.

Single footrest adjustment
It is possible to choose between two types of lower limb support:
- Single multi-adjustable footrest
- Separate multi-adjustable footrests

For those requiring a higher level of customization, the separate footrest offers an advanced solution. The ability to rotate the individual footrests outward allows for appropriate alignment of the lower limbs, reducing stress on knees and hips. Additionally, the coordinated abduction setting obtained by adjusting the lateral pelvis supports and, if necessary, the abductor wedge, promotes appropriate posture for children who are clinically indicated to maintain hips in abduction.
